The university we are studying at is called Universidad Nacional de San Martin, and has its main base at the outskirts of Buenos Aires. They also have a small base downtown (Sarmiento 1853) where we are studying! This base is recently renovated. It is on the 5th floor of the building, and consist four classrooms (and a rooftop). The managers of the faculty are really the sweetest and most helpful!

Getting to the downtown base only take us 30 minutes to walk or 25 minutes with metro from where I live (Pichincha). The base is just one block away from the busy Avenida Callao, and has numerous options for restaurants, supermarkets and shopping. It is a very nice and safe area, and is located just next to the Congress.

Apparently we are going to have a few classes together with Argentinian students at the university’s main base later on in the semester; after their holiday. The main base is 40 minutes from the city, and is apparently very big and has lots of activities.
